Paras’ Everyday BAIC

Former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) star and actor Benjie Paras has made his BAIC SUV his regular vehicle for work and family trips, citing its driving comfort, cargo space and safety features.

Paras, who divides his time between entertainment commitments and family activities, said the SUV meets his needs whether he is driving around Metro Manila or heading out of town with his children.

“It’s my everyday car,” Paras said. “When I go to work in the city or out of town, I don’t worry about the cargo space and it’s economical. And I feel safe when I’m driving with my kids on board.”
Among the features he appreciates is a collision-prevention system designed to reduce the risk of accidents.

“It automatically stops when you’re about to hit something,” he said.
Paras also cited the vehicle’s automatic locking function, which he considers a useful convenience when leaving the SUV unattended.

Comfort is another reason he prefers the vehicle, particularly during lengthy trips and heavy Metro Manila traffic.
“My body doesn’t hurt from a long drive. It’s so quiet that you’ll forget about the traffic. And it’s easy to maintain,” he said.
The SUV has also become a familiar choice for family outings. Paras said his children enjoy riding in it, particularly when they travel together.

“They’re always excited to use my car whenever we go out,” he said.
Beyond its practicality, Paras praised the SUV’s appearance and equipment, comparing the ownership experience with that of more expensive European vehicles.
“The style and features are way updated. It’s like owning a European car,” he said.
Paras is among BAIC Philippines’ brand ambassadors as the Chinese automaker expands its presence in the local market.
The company has established dealerships in Metro Manila and Cebu while expanding its vehicle lineup to include the B30e Dune hybrid off-roader, B40e Trailmaster range-extended electric vehicle and B60e Beaumont electrified SUV.
Distributed locally by UAAGI Auto Group, BAIC also offers diesel-powered SUVs and crossovers through its growing dealership network.
For Paras, however, the appeal comes down to everyday use. His BAIC remains his preferred vehicle whether he is traveling for work or taking his family on a trip.
