Geely Breaks 1,000 Mark

Geely Motor Philippines recorded its highest monthly sales in September 2026, with 1,023 vehicles sold as demand for its electric and hybrid models accounted for nearly 80 percent of the total.

It was the first time the company exceeded 1,000 units in a single month since it began operating as a direct subsidiary of Geely Auto International in February 2025.

The all-electric Geely EX2 led sales with 470 units, followed by the EX5 EM-i Super Hybrid with 345 units. Together, the two electrified models contributed 815 vehicles, or nearly four out of every five Geely vehicles sold during the month.

The Okavango placed third with 76 units, followed by the Coolray with 53 and the electric EX5 with 31. The GX3 Pro recorded 26 units, while the Emgrand contributed 22.

Geely attributed the result partly to its nationwide dealership network, particularly the performance of MG Gateway Group, ANC+ Group of Companies and D&J Auto.

The company expects sales momentum to continue through the final quarter of 2026 as it prepares to introduce additional models to the Philippine market.

Among its upcoming vehicles is the Geely Monjaro EM-i, a flagship Super Hybrid SUV that will expand the brand’s electrified lineup.

Geely Motor Philippines is also preparing to operate Lynk & Co as an official brand under its local organization. The addition will broaden its portfolio and extend its presence in the premium vehicle segment.

The developments follow Geely’s transition to direct subsidiary operations in the Philippines, with electrified vehicles now accounting for the majority of its September sales.
