Tesla boosts Model Y L acceleration, expands Philippine charging network

Tesla has upgraded the acceleration of its Model Y L six-seater electric SUV while expanding its retail and charging network in the Philippines, including a new charging facility in Pampanga.

The Model Y L now accelerates from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds, an improvement over its previous five-second figure. The upgrade comes as standard at no additional cost.
Designed for families, the electric SUV offers a driving range of up to 681 kilometers under the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP).

The Model Y L is available for online orders through Tesla Philippines’ official website.
Meanwhile, Tesla is strengthening its presence in Northern Luzon through a vehicle display and customer experience event at SM City Clark in Pampanga from October 2 to 18.

Visitors can explore the company’s latest electric vehicles, learn about its charging network and schedule test drives during the event.
Customers who complete a vehicle reservation during the promotional period may receive up to 5,000 kilometers worth of Supercharging credits.

The activity coincides with the opening of a Tesla Destination Charging station at SM City Clark’s North Parking area. The facility has four charging slots capable of delivering up to 11 kilowatts.
Tesla owners in Northern Luzon can also access body repair services through its accredited partner, LAUS Auto Service Center.

Across the Philippines, Tesla currently operates four Supercharger sites with 16 Superchargers and 10 Destination Charging locations equipped with 40 Wall Connectors.
Additional Supercharger locations are planned for Baguio, Manila, Seven/Neo in Bonifacio Global City, Paseo Center in Makati and Robinsons Magnolia.

Destination Charging facilities are also scheduled to open at SM City Cebu and SM Olongapo Central.
Tesla is offering several purchase incentives to attract more customers to electric vehicles.
The Model 3 is available through financing plans starting at P29,990 per month, subject to applicable terms.
Eligible buyers may also receive complimentary Supercharging credits, one year of comprehensive insurance, purchase incentives and a free home charger.

Under Tesla’s referral program, existing owners receive P6,500 in Tesla credits for successful referrals, while new buyers can receive P13,000 toward a vehicle purchase.
The company’s retail presence includes Tesla Center BGC and temporary displays at Alabang Town Center, Opus Mall and SM City Clark.
Customers can visit Tesla’s official Philippine website for vehicle orders, promotional details and charging station information.
