Green SM Launches Six-Seat Green Limo

Green SM has launched Green Limo, a six-seat electric taxi service in Indonesia, alongside a rental program that gives drivers access to new VinFast vehicles.

The company will hand over the first 500 Limo Green vehicles to drivers at its Kemayoran depot in Jakarta from September 19 to 29.

Green Limo is the company’s third four-wheel service in Indonesia after Green Car and Green Premium. It caters to families, groups, business travelers and passengers who need more room for luggage.

The service uses the VinFast Limo Green, which has three rows of seats. Its electric powertrain produces no tailpipe emissions, fuel odor or engine noise.

Cabin equipment includes automatic air conditioning, separate vents for the two rear rows and a filtration and deodorizing system. Passengers also have access to a multi-purpose charging cable for mobile devices.

Green SM is offering first-time Green Limo passengers a 20-percent discount of up to IDR 50,000. The introductory offer runs until October 3.

The company also introduced its “Rent a VinFast. Become a Green SM Driver. Be Your Own Boss” program during the launch.

Drivers may join with an initial payment starting at IDR 2 million. Daily rental fees start at IDR 254,000.

Vehicles available under the program include the Limo Green, VF e34 or Nerio Green, VF 5 or Herio Green, and VF 6.

Green SM said qualified drivers may receive guaranteed daily earnings of up to IDR 400,000 during their first two months, subject to program conditions. Revenue sharing can reach 92 percent.

The package also includes a monthly IDR 1-million sign-up bonus, a brand bonus of IDR 676,000 and an operating bonus of up to IDR 1.34 million. Drivers receive free charging at V-Green stations.

Green SM Global chief executive Pham Nhat Minh Hoang said the larger vehicle gives customers another choice when space and comfort are priorities.

He added that the rental program provides drivers with a more accessible way to earn through VinFast electric vehicles with lower operating costs.

The handover event at the Kemayoran depot also includes vehicle demonstrations, consultations and driver applications. Prospective partners can drive the vehicles and review the rental terms before placing a deposit.

Green SM said its services have completed about 850 million trips worldwide and covered nearly six billion kilometers. The company estimated that those journeys have prevented more than 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The ride-hailing operator continues to widen its all-electric services and coverage in Indonesia as it seeks a larger share of the country’s mobility market.
