VF 3 Wins Consumer Award

VinFast’s VF 3 has received the “Trusted & Popular Brand 2026” award in the Passenger Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) category at the Disway Awards 2026 in Indonesia, after recording the highest consumer awareness in its category.
The recognition follows a survey of 20,000 respondents across 20 major Indonesian cities, conducted as part of the annual awards organized by Disway National Network in partnership with independent research firm Infovesta Utama.
The awards recognize brands that respondents name first in their respective categories and achieve an awareness rate exceeding 70 percent.

The Vietnamese automaker’s compact electric SUV led the Passenger BEV category, where its urban-friendly dimensions, four-seat configuration and affordable ownership costs have helped attract Indonesian consumers.
The VF 3’s small footprint makes it suitable for congested city streets, while its cabin accommodates four occupants. Buyers also have several personalization options.
VinFast has introduced ownership incentives in Indonesia, including free charging at V-GREEN stations until March 31, 2029, and a residual value guarantee of up to 80 percent, subject to applicable conditions.
Customers can also choose between purchasing the battery outright or subscribing to a battery plan, giving them flexibility in managing the initial cost of electric vehicle ownership.
Arunodoy Das, CEO of VinFast Indonesia, welcomed the recognition as an indication of the VF 3’s acceptance among local consumers.
“The recognition received by the VinFast VF 3 at the Disway Awards 2026 is a strong testament to the model’s quality, appeal, and suitability for Indonesian consumers, while also reflecting the country’s growing shift toward electric mobility,” Das said.

He added that the company would continue developing practical and accessible vehicles supported by solutions that make EV ownership easier.
The latest honor follows the VF 3’s recognition as “The Best Newcomer Electric Car” at the Carvaganza Editors’ Choice Awards in 2025.
VinFast also received several distinctions in Indonesia last year, including the “Accelerator of Indonesia’s Electric Vehicle Ecosystem” award at the detikcom Awards and two honors at the CNN Indonesia Awards for innovation in sustainable mobility and contributions to energy independence.
At the Road to CNBC Indonesia Awards 2025, VinFast received the “Pioneering Brand in Green Transition and Sustainability” distinction, while its VF 7 was named “Compact SUV of the Year.”
VinFast continues to expand its Indonesian operations with a vehicle lineup extending from the VF 3 mini SUV to the seven-seater MPV 7.
The company is also developing its sales and after-sales network, charging infrastructure and ownership programs as it seeks a larger share of Indonesia’s growing electric vehicle market.
