Wrenched for Success

231 newly trained automotive technicians have officially graduated from the Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology (TMP Tech), marking the institution’s 14th commencement ceremony. Held at Toyota’s industrial complex in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, the event celebrated the achievements of students from the Automotive Servicing General Job, Automotive Body Panel Repairing, and Automotive Body Painting courses.

The new graduates bring TMP Tech’s total number of trained technicians to 2,792 since it began offering regular and specialized programs in 2014. The school was established in 2013 by the late Dr. Shoichiro Toyota and Dr. George S.K. Ty to develop highly skilled Filipino workers for Toyota’s local and international dealer networks.

The ceremony was attended by TMP Tech leaders and Toyota officials, including TMP President Masando Hashimoto, TESDA Region IV-A Director Archie Grande, TESDA Laguna Director Zoraida Amper, and TMP Tech Chairman Jose Maria Atienza. Also present were members of the Toyota Dealers Association of the Philippines and the students’ families.
