GAC gives AION UT, AION V buyers free wall charger and two-year PMS

GAC Philippines is offering a free home wall charger and two years of preventive maintenance service to buyers of the AION UT and AION V as part of a promotion running through the end of 2026.

Customers who purchase and take delivery of a brand-new AION UT or AION V from September 1 to December 31 will receive a complimentary 7-kW wall charger and a two-year free PMS package.

The included charger operates at 32 amps and is designed for standard Philippine residential 220-volt electrical lines. GAC said the unit can charge a standard 60-kWh EV battery from low charge to full in about eight hours, making overnight charging possible at home.

The free PMS package covers labor and parts prescribed under GAC’s standard maintenance schedule. Services must be performed at the authorized service center of the dealership that sold the vehicle.

Owners must present their PMS voucher and vehicle records during each visit.

GAC Philippines president Calvin Cheng said the offer is intended to make ownership of the two electric models more convenient while giving customers additional value after purchase.

The promotion adds to GAC’s existing ownership coverage for its electric vehicles. The AION UT and AION V carry an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer basic warranty, whichever comes first.

Their traction battery and electric drive are covered for eight years or 200,000 kilometers, subject to the applicable warranty conditions.

GAC Philippines currently operates a network of 30 dealerships and maintains a local parts warehouse. The company also provides two years of free roadside assistance to vehicle owners.
