Start an EV Charging Business with Zero Cashout

Published

Got extra space? You might just be sitting on your next source of income – 24/7 even while you sleep. A true passive income.

V-Green, a Vietnamese EV charging solutions provider, is launching a partnership program in the Philippines that allows landowners and small business operators to start an electric vehicle (EV) charging station, with zero cashout required.

No Capital, No Hassle

Here’s how it works: If you have a suitable lot, 30 to 1,000 square meters with concrete surface and access to three-phase electricity, V-Green will install the charging equipment, connect the power, and operate it 24/7. You don’t need to spend a single peso. In return, you earn through a revenue-sharing setup.

It’s a practical and passive income opportunity, especially for property owners in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao. Whether you run a café, gas station, or own an unused roadside space, the business model fits right in.

Tested in Vietnam, Now in PH

V-Green has already rolled out over 150,000 charging ports across Vietnam through a mix of self-operated and franchised stations. Now they’re bringing the same proven model to the Philippines—with plans to add a franchise option soon.

“Our goal is to make EV charging stations a standard feature in Philippine developments within five years,” says V-Green Philippines CEO Luu Viet Hung. “We’re offering a zero-risk, zero-capital way for partners to join the EV movement.”

Why It Makes Business Sense

As more EVs hit Philippine roads, charging demand will only grow. Hosting a charging station increases foot traffic and dwell time, which benefits nearby shops, restaurants, and convenience stores.

Plus, the setup gives your property a modern, eco-friendly image, something today’s customers value more and more.

Get Plugged In

If you’re a landowner looking to maximize unused space or a business owner wanting to tap into the EV boom without spending upfront, this could be your sign to plug into the future.

Volvo Cars Philippines has rolled out a limited time promo on its two plug in hybrid SUVs, giving buyers a rare chance to step into electrified luxury with major savings.

Handled locally by Hariphil Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the offer puts both the XC90 T8 and XC60 T8 Plug in Hybrid under the spotlight, each carrying a ₱500,000 discount from their respective sticker prices. The promo covers Volvo’s top tier electrified models and comes with a DTI Fair Trade Permit, making it a certified deal for buyers looking to move into hybrid ownership.

Leading the lineup is the XC90 T8 Plug in Hybrid, Volvo’s seven seater flagship SUV. With the discount applied, the model drops from its ₱5.45 million suggested retail price. Designed for families and long drives, the XC90 T8 can travel up to 77 kilometers on electric power alone before switching to hybrid mode for longer trips. This setup allows for emissions free city use while keeping fuel efficiency and performance intact on highways.

Alongside it is the XC60 T8 Plug in Hybrid, Volvo’s best selling SUV globally with more than 2.7 million units sold worldwide. Priced at ₱4.55 million before the discount, the five seater SUV offers up to 80 kilometers of electric only driving, making it suitable for daily urban use. Once the battery is depleted, the vehicle automatically shifts to hybrid operation to maintain efficiency without sacrificing responsiveness.

Both models highlight Volvo’s long standing focus on safety, comfort, and Scandinavian design, while giving buyers access to plug in hybrid technology without fully committing to a pure electric vehicle.

Interested customers can visit Volvo Cars Makati to check availability, learn more about the promo, and book a test drive. The offer is available for a limited time only, subject to terms and conditions.

Changan PH Rolls Out 2026 CS15 at P850K

Published

on

Changan Philippines has introduced the updated 2026 CS15 in the local market, keeping its entry-level sub-compact SUV positioned at P850,000. The launch comes as the brand continues to expand its electrified Nevo lineup, while maintaining a presence in the gasoline-powered segment.

The CS15 remains the most affordable model in Changan’s Philippine range. For 2026, updates are concentrated on styling and equipment rather than mechanical changes. The model is offered in Glitter Galaxy Silver Gray, Red, Shiny Pearl Black, and Snowy White.

Exterior revisions are most noticeable at the front, where the CS15 adopts a redesigned rhombic grille featuring a diamond-pattern insert. The headlamp layout carries over, retaining halogen automatic headlights with LED daytime running lights. Along the sides, the refreshed model is distinguished by new 17-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, while the body lines, roof rails, and mirror trims remain unchanged. The rear design is carried over as well, with LED taillights, a large bumper with faux skid plate styling, and an integrated rear spoiler.

The cabin layout continues from the previous version. The CS15 is equipped with leather upholstery, a rear air-conditioning vent, and a digital-focused dashboard. A 10-inch central touchscreen supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Interior features also include a moonroof, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, a manually adjustable six-way driver seat, and a four-way adjustable front passenger seat.

Power is supplied by a 1.5-liter BlueCore gasoline engine producing 105 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. The engine is paired exclusively with a five-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with cruise control, driving the front wheels. Chassis hardware includes front MacPherson struts and a rear torsion beam suspension, with electric power steering as standard.

Safety equipment on the CS15 includes four SRS airbags, anti-lock braking with electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control, hill hold control, tire pressure monitoring, rear parking sensors, and a reverse camera. Four-wheel disc brakes are fitted as standard.

Changan backs the CS15 with a five-year or 150,000-kilometer vehicle warranty. Buyers can avail of financing options that include an all-in down payment of P31,000 or monthly payments starting at P7,485.

The 2026 CS15 keeps Changan active in the entry-level SUV segment, offering updated styling and a familiar feature set while holding its position in the sub-P900,000 price bracket.

Ford Philippines opened 2026 with a sales push aimed at buyers who want a new vehicle without immediate monthly payments.

The carmaker rolled out its Drive Now, Pay Later program, allowing customers to purchase select models and delay bank amortization for up to four months. The offer runs across all Ford dealerships nationwide until January 31.

Leading the program are the Ford Everest and Ford Ranger. Buyers of the Everest Trend can drive home the SUV with three months of free amortization. The Ranger Wildtrak 4×2 comes with four months of free payments, while the Ranger Sport 4×4 includes three months.

Ford said the program is meant to make vehicle ownership easier early in the year, especially for customers planning big purchases after the holidays.

In addition to the deferred payments, Ford also lined up January-only deals across its lineup. Cash discounts, low all-in down payment options, and special financing schemes are available on several models.

The Everest carries cash savings of up to P95,000, with select variants offered at an all-in down payment of P69,000. The Ranger lineup features cash discounts reaching P155,000, also paired with P69,000 all-in deals on certain variants.

Performance-focused buyers still get extended offers on the Ford Ranger Raptor, including cash discounts and bundled care packages depending on the engine variant.

Ford also highlighted more accessible options within the range. The Ranger XLS AT remains priced from P1.379 million, while the Ford Territory Hybrid Trend starts at P1.399 million. January buyers of the Territory Hybrid Trend can choose between a P20,000 discount or a complimentary three-year scheduled service plan.

Larger SUVs are part of the push as well. The Ford Explorer and Ford Bronco are offered with either a P99,000 all-in deal or zero-percent interest with 20 percent down payment spread over 60 months.

Ford said details of the offers are available through its dealerships and official online channels.
