VinFast Scoots to the Top
VinFast closed 2025 with a big win in electric two-wheelers, delivering 406,453 e-scooters nationwide and locking in the top spot in Vietnam’s e-scooter market. The figure represents a massive 473 percent jump from the previous year, underlining how fast electric mobility is catching on in the country.
The surge was led by VinFast’s Evo lineup, which became the brand’s best-selling range for the year. With multiple price points and flexible battery options, the Evo models alone accounted for more than 250,000 units sold. Other familiar names such as Feliz, Klara, Vento, Vero X, and Theon also helped push overall numbers higher. License-exempt models like Motio, Zgoo, and Flazz widened the brand’s reach, especially among younger riders and first-time buyers.
Beyond product variety, VinFast pointed to heavy investment in its ecosystem as a major driver of growth. By the end of 2025, the company had built a nationwide sales network with over 600 authorized distributors, making its e-scooters more accessible across urban and provincial areas. This was backed by a growing number of service workshops and public charging stations, designed to make ownership easier and less intimidating for new users.
Sales were also boosted by aggressive customer programs, including gasoline-to-electric trade-ins, attractive financing options, and expanded after-sales support. According to VinFast, these efforts helped ease common concerns around charging, maintenance, and long-term costs, encouraging more riders to switch from petrol-powered scooters.
Hoang Ha, CEO of VinFast’s e-scooter business in Vietnam, said 2025 was a turning point for green mobility in the country. He added that strong market momentum and growing trust in the brand give VinFast confidence heading into 2026, which the company expects to be another milestone year.
VinFast’s dominance in e-scooters came alongside strong performance in electric cars, highlighting a broader shift away from gasoline vehicles nationwide. The company sees this as proof that Vietnam’s transition to electric mobility is no longer a future plan, but an ongoing reality.
At the start of 2026, VinFast expanded its lineup further with four new e-scooter models, including battery-swapping versions of Evo, Feliz II, and Viper, plus the Amio pedal-assisted model aimed at students. To support this push, VinFast has already installed 4,500 battery-swapping stations and plans to roll out 45,000 battery cabinets by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
The company is also running its “For a Green Future” campaign, offering zero down payment options, retail discounts, and registration fee support until April 12, 2026. Buyers will receive free charging at V-Green stations until May 31, 2027, along with complimentary battery-swapping for up to a year, depending on usage.
VinFast opens Philippine bookings for swappable e-motorcycles
VinFast has opened early bookings in the Philippines for three battery-swapping electric motorcycle models as it widens its two-wheel electric lineup in Southeast Asia.
The program covers the VinFast Evo, Feliz II and Viper, with reservations accepted from June 10 to July 18 through vinfastauto.ph and VinFast dealerships nationwide. Customers may secure a unit with a non-refundable booking fee of P3,000 and receive incentives valued at P5,600 during the booking period. First deliveries are expected to start in July.
The launch comes less than a month after VinFast opened bookings for the same lineup in Indonesia, placing the Philippines among its key regional markets for electric two-wheelers.
VinFast is offering two ownership options. Buyers may choose a battery subscription plan with access to battery swapping, or purchase the motorcycle with one or two batteries included.
The Evo is priced at P70,000 with battery subscription, P82,700 with one battery and P95,400 with two batteries. The Feliz II starts at P72,400 with battery subscription, P85,100 with one battery and P97,800 with two batteries. The Viper is priced at P81,900 with battery subscription, P94,600 with one battery and P107,300 with two batteries.
Battery subscription costs P439 per battery per month, while battery swapping is priced at P35 per battery per swap. Users may also charge the batteries at home.
Each model has two battery compartments under the seat and can use up to two 1.5 kWh LFP batteries. With two fully charged batteries, VinFast says the motorcycles can travel up to 150 kilometers under standard conditions.
All three models use a 5,200W BLDC in-wheel motor. The Viper and Feliz II have a claimed top speed of up to 90 kilometers per hour, while the Evo reaches up to 80 kilometers per hour.
The Viper is aimed at younger riders seeking sportier styling and added technology. It comes with a Smart Key system with remote vehicle tracking and locating functions, a TFT display, projector headlights and dual rear shock absorbers with external reservoirs.
The Evo and Feliz II are positioned for everyday urban use, with the company citing agile performance, lower operating costs and range suited for daily commuting.
VinFast said the motorcycles use a high-strength steel frame that meets Japanese standards. The motor and controller system are rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, while the battery meets the European ECE-R136 safety standard and is covered by a warranty of up to six years or 72,000 kilometers.
The company is working with charging infrastructure developer V-Green to roll out battery-swapping stations in the Philippines.
Vo Thi Cam Tu, managing director of VinFast E-motorcycles Overseas Market, said the Philippines is one of VinFast’s key markets for its international electric two-wheeler expansion. She said the company will continue investing in products, infrastructure and services to support the shift to electric mobility.

Honda NAVi adds Neon Pink R variant for Filipina riders
MANILA, Philippines — Honda Philippines, Inc. has introduced the Honda NAVi Neon Pink R, a new color variant aimed at young Filipinas looking for a stylish and easy-to-ride motorcycle for daily city use.
The new variant brings a bolder look to the NAVi lineup, which also includes Black, Patriot Red, Shasta White and Ranger Green R. Honda said the Neon Pink R colorway was designed for riders who want a motorcycle that matches their personality while offering practical mobility for everyday trips.
The Honda NAVi uses a 109cc engine with Honda Eco Technology and has a fuel efficiency rating of 48.4 kilometers per liter. It also comes with an automatic CVT transmission, which removes the need for manual shifting and makes the motorcycle easier to handle for newer riders.
Honda also equipped the NAVi with a 30-inch low seat height, Combined Braking System, integrated storage compartment and responsive handling. These features support riders who need a compact and convenient motorcycle for city movement, short errands and regular commuting.
The company said the NAVi represents more than basic transport for many young riders. With its customizable design and new color choice, the motorcycle is positioned as an extension of personal style and confidence.
The Honda NAVi Neon Pink R will be available this May 2026 at all Honda 3S Shops and official Honda dealers nationwide. It carries a suggested retail price of P59,000.
