Suzuki Philippines has opened reservations for its all-new Fronx, a subcompact hybrid crossover set to rival the Toyota Raize and Kia Sonet. The early reservation window runs from August 20 to September 5, 2025, giving customers a chance to lock in their units while also getting exclusive freebies.

Those who reserve the GLX AT variant will receive two genuine Suzuki accessories: a luggage mat tray and a set of tire valve caps. Suzuki notes these tokens are non-convertible to cash and non-transferable, making them available only to the earliest Fronx buyers.

To secure a unit, customers must place a ₱10,000 reservation fee at any authorized Suzuki dealership nationwide. Payments may be made via cash, check, or credit card (subject to dealership approval). The reservation fee will later be deducted from the total payment or down payment once the vehicle is released.

However, Suzuki clarified that promo benefits apply only if the reserved units are released on or before December 31, 2025. Accessories will be delivered directly to the buyer’s declared address after the unit’s release.

The Suzuki Fronx—already being sold in more than 70 countries including India, Japan, and several markets in Latin America and Africa—was previewed in the Philippines at Matsuri 2025 as part of Suzuki’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Specs and Features

Based on LTO homologation papers, the Fronx measures 3,995 mm long, 1,765 mm wide, and 1,550 mm tall, with a 2,520 mm wheelbase and 170 mm ground clearance. It seats five and rides on 16-inch wheels wrapped in 196/60 tires.

Under the hood is a K15C Dualjet gasoline engine with Smart Hybrid system, capable of reaching a top speed of 175 km/h.

For safety and tech, the crossover comes with a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, wireless charger, 360-degree view camera, six airbags, dual support brake sensor, lane departure warning and prevention, lane keep assist, weaving alert, blind spot monitor, and rear cross traffic alert.

With its coupe-SUV styling and modern hybrid powertrain, the Suzuki Fronx positions itself as an easy-to-handle yet feature-packed option for Filipino drivers looking for something fresh in the subcompact crossover segment.

Captiva Your Moment

Two Chevrolet Captiva SUVs, one in black and one in white, displayed on a scenic mountain road at sunset with the text "Captivate Your Drive" and the BPI partner logo.

Chevrolet Philippines teams up with BPI Auto Loan to roll out an exclusive Captiva deal that’s built for growing families. From August 22 to October 31, 2025, buyers can pick either up to ₱140,000 in savings or a low all-in down payment of ₱46,000 at 20 percent DP, available nationwide through authorized dealers.

The offer centers on the 7-seat Captiva, positioned as a daily partner that can shift from school runs to weekend drives. Inside, the panoramic sunroof brightens the cabin and a 10.4-inch vertical touchscreen supports Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto to keep everyone connected on the move. For cargo days, the flexible layout opens up to 1,709 liters, enough for gear, groceries, or luggage.

Safety features include six airbags, MacPherson front suspension, 18-inch alloys, and an elevated ride height for rough city streets and provincial roads. Chevrolet says the Captiva has been endurance-tested to simulate five years of use in just 85 days, underscoring durability for family use.

The pitch is simple. If you want the biggest slash on the sticker price, take the cash discount. If you prefer to conserve upfront cash, the low all-in DP option helps you get the keys sooner. Either way, Chevrolet and BPI Auto Loan aim to make the Captiva easier to bring home while offering space, comfort, and peace of mind.
