Honda Rallies Visayas Riders

Honda Philippines Inc. brought its Riders Convention to the Visayas, gathering motorcycle owners and clubs at the Mactan Expo following the event’s Luzon leg.

The convention combined rider activities with road safety sessions and Honda’s community programs. Motorcycle enthusiasts, content creators and media partners joined the regional gathering.

“The Luzon leg gave us a great start after showing us how strong and passionate the riding community has become,” HPI president Takeshi Kobayashi said.

“Bringing this convention to Visayas is our way of continuing that celebration and extending our appreciation to more Honda riders from across the region.”

HPI also incorporated its corporate social responsibility program into the convention for the first time.

A blood donation activity was held at the Mactan Expo Main Hall, with Honda riders, motorcycle club members and other attendees taking part. The initiative reflected the Filipino tradition of bayanihan and gave participants a chance to support local blood requirements.

Riders also joined test rides and safety seminars. Learn-to-Ride sessions were offered to help new motorcyclists develop basic riding skills, with particular attention given to encouraging women to ride.

Honda presented the features of its MyHonda+ Philippines mobile application during the convention. The app is designed to give owners easier access to services and information related to their motorcycles.

The Visayas gathering also hosted the first public launch of the Honda Click125 Street, the newest model in the Click125 series.

Honda positioned the scooter as a sportier addition to the range, with updated styling and features aimed at younger riders.

Women riders were given a prominent role in the program as they shared their experiences on the road. Their stories highlighted how motorcycle riding can offer greater mobility and personal freedom.

The segment also reflected the increasing participation of women in a riding community long associated mainly with men.

Honda said the convention was its way of thanking riders for their continued support. The motorcycle manufacturer plans to create more activities for women and the next generation of Filipino riders as it expands its community programs around the country.
