Vingroup Climbs Global List

Vingroup has jumped 477 places to rank 340th in TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026, making it the only Vietnamese company included in the ranking for a second consecutive year.

The group received an overall score of 81 in the annual list of 1,000 companies compiled by TIME and Statista. Vingroup ranked 817th in 2025.

Companies are assessed based on revenue growth, employee satisfaction and sustainability transparency, including environmental, social and corporate governance factors.

Vingroup received an “Outstanding” rating for revenue growth after reporting consolidated net revenue of VND 222.9 trillion in the first half of 2026, up 72 percent from the same period last year.

Profit after tax reached VND 20.904 trillion, or 4.6 times the level recorded during the same period in 2025. The figure was equivalent to 60 percent of Vingroup’s full-year target.

The group also ranked 398th globally for employee satisfaction, an improvement of 496 places from last year.

Vingroup said companies across its ecosystem now operate in 12 countries and provide employment for about 400,000 people worldwide.

Its businesses span several sectors, including automotive manufacturing, property development, infrastructure and energy.

VinFast, Vingroup’s electric vehicle company, is currently the leading automotive brand by sales volume in Vietnam. The company is targeting global deliveries of 300,000 cars and one million electric motorcycles in 2026.

Property developer Vinhomes, meanwhile, has adopted what it calls an ESG++ urban development model. The approach adds regeneration and resilience to the traditional environmental, social and governance framework.

Vingroup also entered infrastructure and green energy in 2025.

Through VinSpeed, the company is involved in the Ben Thanh-Can Gio high-speed railway project in Ho Chi Minh City and the Hanoi-Quang Ninh high-speed railway project. Energy arm VinEnergo is developing projects in several locations.

Vingroup first entered TIME’s World’s Best Companies ranking in 2025.

Other companies under the group have also appeared in international rankings. VinFast was included in the TIME100 Most Influential Companies list in 2024 and TIME’s Asia-Pacific’s Best Companies ranking in 2025.
