Honda Riders Rally in Mindanao
Honda Philippines concluded its nationwide Riders Convention in Cagayan de Oro on October 24, with the 2027 Click160 among the attractions at the gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts.
The Mindanao event was the third and final leg of the 2026 convention following earlier gatherings in Luzon and the Visayas.

Participants joined motorcycle test rides and road safety seminars, while Honda introduced its MyHonda+ Philippines mobile application. Motorcycle displays, motor shows, e-sports activities and a grand raffle were also included in the program.
Honda Philippines president Takeshi Kobayashi said the Mindanao convention provided another opportunity to strengthen the company’s relationship with Filipino riders.
βThe Mindanao leg marked an extension of celebrating the joy of mobility and building more meaningful connections grounded in trust and shared passion among Filipino riders,β Kobayashi said.

One of the event’s highlights was the 2027 model-year Honda Click160, which features a more aggressive sporty design and darker styling. Honda also cited improvements in performance and equipment as part of the scooter’s latest updates.
The convention gave women riders an opportunity to demonstrate their skills through an off-road exhibition by Honda-sponsored female motocross riders.
Their participation reflected the manufacturer’s efforts to encourage greater involvement of women in motorcycle riding, particularly in competitive and recreational activities.

Honda also worked with the Cagayan de Oro local government and Honda Riders Club presidents to organize the second leg of its blood donation initiative.
The activity encouraged motorcycle club members to donate blood to help replenish supplies at medical blood banks in Northern Mindanao.

The initiative added a community service component to the convention, alongside the activities intended to promote responsible riding and motorcycle safety.
With the Mindanao gathering completed, Honda closed its three-leg convention series for 2026. The events brought together riders from different parts of the country and gave the company an opportunity to engage directly with its motorcycle community.
