EastWest widens mobility aid

EastWest has donated vehicles to Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary and Jubilee Christian Academy as it expands its EasyMobility for Community Program to support more educational and nonprofit institutions nationwide.

The latest donations follow earlier vehicle turnovers to organizations in Cebu, Negros Occidental and Davao, where the bank has extended transportation assistance to institutions involved in education and community development.
The program provides vehicles to help partner organizations reach more beneficiaries and carry out activities that require reliable transportation.
At Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary, the donated vehicle will support pastoral visits, outreach missions and activities related to the formation of future church leaders. It will also help the institution maintain closer connections with the communities it serves.
Jubilee Christian Academy, meanwhile, will use its vehicle for student programs and community outreach activities. The additional transportation will allow the school to extend educational and service initiatives beyond its campus.

EastWest chief executive officer Jerry Ngo said reliable transportation can help institutions serve their communities more effectively.
“At EastWest, we believe that when organizations can move more efficiently, they can create deeper impact in the communities they serve,” Ngo said.
“The EasyMobility for Community Program reflects our commitment to helping our partners continue their important work in education, formation, and service.”

EastWest, a subsidiary of Filinvest Development Corporation, said it will continue expanding the program nationwide through partnerships with organizations involved in education and community service.
The initiative seeks to address transportation needs that can limit the reach of institutional programs, particularly those serving communities outside their immediate locations.
