Mustang Spirit Goes Electric in PH

MANILA – Ford Philippines has officially entered the electric vehicle market with the launch of the Mustang Mach-E, priced at ₱3,499,000. This is Ford’s first full-electric model in the country, combining the Mustang’s performance heritage with zero-emission technology.

The Mach-E offered locally is the Premium All-Wheel Drive Extended Range variant, powered by dual motors producing 394hp and 676Nm of torque. Its 88kWh battery delivers up to 550km of range (WLTP). Charging can be done via AC (up to 11kW) or DC fast charging (up to 150kW), with the latter bringing the battery from 10% to 80% in about 36–45 minutes.

Drivers can choose from three drive modes—Whisper, Engage, and Unbridle—plus a One-Pedal Drive feature for regenerative braking.

The design retains Mustang cues like the fastback shape and tri-bar tail lights, paired with modern touches such as LED projector headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a drainable front trunk. Inside, the Mach-E features heated ActiveX seats, a 15.5-inch SYNC 4A touchscreen, Bang & Olufsen audio, and up to 1,420 liters of cargo space.

Tech highlights include FordPass app connectivity for remote control and monitoring, and safety features like nine airbags, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.

Available in five colors, each purchase includes a portable 3.5kW charger and a 7kW wall box. The Mach-E will be available in select dealerships starting September, with public displays and a roadshow starting August 8 at Bonifacio Global City.
