Honda’s New Drive Forward

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is preparing major changes to its dealership network as it aims to reach more customers and improve service quality nationwide. The company confirmed that starting January 1, 2026, several dealerships previously operated by ACMobility will shift under new management groups with extensive experience in automotive retail.

Under the new setup, the Gateway Group will take over Honda Cars Makati, Cebu, Negros, Cagayan de Oro, and Alabang. Meanwhile, the Borromeo Motoring Group (BMG) will handle Honda Cars Bacoor, Pasig, Mandaue, and Iloilo. Both groups already manage multiple brands across the country and are expected to bring consistent service standards to their new Honda sites.

Alongside these transitions, HCPI is also establishing a new subsidiary that will directly operate Honda Cars Shaw. This move brings HCPI closer to day-to-day operations, giving the company more control in improving customer experience, streamlining processes, and raising overall service quality across the network.

HCPI President Rie Miyake said the combined efforts of the new partners and the in-house dealership will strengthen Honda’s commitment to customer satisfaction. “We will move forward together to ensure Honda’s dedication to our customers is fully realized,” she shared.

The company is now working on securing regulatory approval. Once cleared, the transitions will begin early 2026 as Honda pledges to provide sustainable and electrified mobility options while preserving what customers love most: the Joy of Driving.
