Nissan Keeps Navara Prices Steady for July Despite Tax Changes

Nissan Philippines is keeping the current pricing of its Navara pickup truck lineup unchanged this July, even as other brands brace for increases due to new tax rules.

The announcement comes after the Capital Market Efficiency Promotion Act (CMEPA) officially took effect on July 1, 2025. Under the law, pickup trucks not primarily used for livelihood purposes are no longer tax-exempt, potentially raising their prices.

Despite this, Nissan has opted to retain the current suggested retail prices (SRPs) for all Navara variants, though availability will depend on dealership stocks. Nissan is also offering special promotions on select units for a limited time.

To promote these offers, Nissan will bring back its Nissan Intelligent Mobility Tour. Attendees can check out the latest models and enjoy limited-time offers during the event.

Nissan Philippines President Masao Tsutsumi said the event aims to make Nissan vehicles more accessible to Filipinos. “By hosting the interactive Nissan Intelligent Mobility Tour, we are giving more Filipinos the opportunity to experience our vehicles firsthand and explore accessible ownership options in a dynamic and engaging environment,” he said.
