BAIC Expands Network With New BGC Dealership

BAIC Philippines has opened a dealership in Bonifacio Global City, giving the automaker a new location in one of Metro Manila’s busiest business and lifestyle districts.
BAIC BGC was inaugurated on September 17 at the ground floor of W City Center, 7th Avenue corner 30th Street in Taguig City. The dealership operates under MG Gateway Mantrade Corporation.

Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano attended the opening with executives from BAIC Philippines, UAAGI Auto Group and Gateway Motors Group, as well as dealership partners and guests.
“BGC is where a lot of modern Filipino life happens. People live here, work here, and bring their families here on weekends,” BAIC Philippines brand head Timothy Sytin said.

He said the district’s mix of business, residential and lifestyle activity makes it a suitable location for BAIC as the company expands its presence in the country.
The dealership gives customers in BGC and nearby areas access to BAIC’s conventional and electrified sport utility vehicles, along with sales and aftersales services.

Among the vehicles available are the B30e Dune electrified SUV, B40e Trailmaster rEV and B60e Beaumont rEV.
The B30e Dune combines hybrid technology with an SUV platform intended for both daily driving and recreational trips. The B40e Trailmaster uses range-extended electric vehicle technology while retaining an off-road-oriented design.
The larger B60e Beaumont rEV is positioned as a premium SUV with more cabin space and technology for longer trips.
BAIC Philippines also sells models including the B40 Pro TrailMaster, B40 Ragnar diesel SUV, B60 Beaumont diesel hybrid, B80 Wagon and X55 Verve.

The BGC dealership is also intended to serve as a venue for owner activities. BAIC said events are planned at the facility as its local owner community grows.
BAIC Philippines is the local distributor of the Chinese automotive brand and operates under UAAGI Auto Group, which has been involved in vehicle distribution in the Philippines for two decades.

The opening adds another location to BAIC’s Philippine dealer network as the company widens access to its SUVs and electrified models.
