Kia Charges Up Father’s Day with EV6 and EV9

This Father’s Day, Kia Philippines is recognizing modern dads who are choosing to drive electric—not just for themselves, but for their families and the planet.

These forward-thinking fathers are turning to electric vehicles like the Kia EV6 and EV9. Both models are fully electric and designed with performance, safety, and style in mind. More than just cars, they represent a shift toward cleaner and more responsible mobility.

The Kia EV6 is a sporty, all-electric SUV suited for dads who are always on the move. It features a sleek design, a tech-savvy interior made with sustainable materials, and practical features like a 528-kilometer range and ultra-fast charging—just 18 minutes from 10% to 80%.

The EV6 is also equipped with smart safety systems, blind-spot cameras, adaptive cruise control, and a power feature that lets it charge small devices or appliances, perfect for family picnics. The model even won the 2023 World Performance Car award.

For dads who need more room, the Kia EV9 steps in. It’s a three-row electric SUV that offers a smooth mix of practicality and luxury. With 505 km of driving range and fast charging that takes just 24 minutes, the EV9 also includes family-friendly perks like massage seats in the second row, heated and ventilated seats, and a smart power tailgate.

It’s built for both comfort and power, with 700 Nm of torque—enough to tow small trailers or carry heavy gear. It also has high-tech features like a 360° camera, digital mirrors, and advanced driver-assist systems. The EV9 was named the 2024 World Car of the Year.

Kia is encouraging more Filipino dads to consider EVs as smart, future-ready family cars. The company also offers hybrid models like the Kia Sorento and Carnival, and fuel-efficient options like the Sonet and Seltos, to meet different family needs.
