Under the warm Calamba sun, BYD gave a quiet yet striking preview of its next big arrival – the BYD eMAX 9 DM-i, a luxury MPV that’s shaping up to be the brand’s most elegant family mover yet. Seen at the Ayala Greenfield Golf & Leisure Club, the eMAX 9 turned heads with its commanding stance, flowing silhouette, and futuristic lighting signature that hints at its electric-hybrid DNA.

Social media has already been buzzing with snapshots of the van’s imposing front end, sleek full-width light bar, and bold chrome accents. Fans call it “the man van,” a mix of power and poise that blends the practicality of a seven-seater with the refinement expected of a premium brand.

Official teasers describe the eMAX 9 DM-i as more than a family vehicle, it’s a “new era of family luxury” built around Super DM-i technology, BYD’s latest innovation that promises smooth and efficient performance.

The public will soon get to see it up close at the Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit happening at SMX Convention Center from October 23 to 25, followed by a Greenbelt 5 Fashion Walk display from October 24 to 26.
