MINI Goes Max

MINI Asia and Eurokars Habitat have officially rolled out the all-new MINI John Cooper Works (JCW) family in Singapore, introducing five performance-driven models including two fully electric variants.

The updated JCW lineup includes:

• MINI John Cooper Works Electric
• MINI John Cooper Works Aceman (Electric)
• MINI John Cooper Works (Petrol)
• MINI John Cooper Works Convertible
• MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4

The Electric and Aceman models mark MINI’s first-ever electric JCWs, delivering up to 190kW (258hp) and 350Nm of torque, with an additional 20kW boost for extra punch. The Electric hatch can cover up to 371 km, while the Aceman hits 355 km per charge (WLTP). Both feature JCW-tuned suspension, high-performance tires, and design elements rooted in MINI’s racing DNA.

For fans of internal combustion, the petrol-powered JCW and JCW Convertible pack 231hp from a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine. The standard JCW reaches 0-100 km/h in 6.1 seconds (top speed: 250 km/h), while the Convertible takes 6.4 seconds (top speed: 245 km/h) and offers a soft-top that opens in 18 seconds at speeds of up to 30 km/h.

Meanwhile, the largest of the group—the Countryman ALL4—blends performance with off-road capability. Equipped with a 300hp engine and all-wheel drive, it sprints from 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and tops out at 250 km/h.

Inside, all models feature JCW styling with red-and-black accents, sports steering wheels, and seats designed for dynamic driving. A Harman Kardon sound system is standard across the lineup.

Tech-wise, each model gets a digital key feature via smartphone and offers MINI Experience Modes, including a “Go-Kart Mode” for sharper handling and faster throttle response. A central OLED display adds real-time data like torque and G-forces.

JCW’s roots date back to 1961, when John Cooper transformed the humble Mini into a racing legend. Today’s JCW family continues that spirit, recently proving its mettle with a class win at the Nürburgring 24-hour race.
