Lexus is preparing to add a second major showroom and service hub in Metro Manila, with a new Lexus Quezon City Gallery now officially under construction on Sgt. Esguerra Street.

City officials and Lexus executives joined the groundbreaking ceremony this week, led by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte. She said the city continues to streamline and automate business processes to attract more entrepreneurs, which she linked to more opportunities and jobs for residents.

For Lexus Philippines, the Quezon City site is positioned as its first dealer network expansion beyond its existing base in Bonifacio Global City. Lexus recently moved to a larger facility in BGC to accommodate more customers and to deliver its signature Omotenashi-style hospitality, but the brand said the time is right to widen its reach.

Chairman Alfred Ty said Lexus has grown from 172 units sold in 2009 to more than 2,000 units annually today. He added that more than 12,000 Lexus vehicles are now on Philippine roads, which supports the decision to expand.

Ty also pointed to demand in Quezon City, saying more than 2,000 Lexus customers already reside in the city. He said the new location will allow Lexus to serve buyers and owners with greater convenience while extending the Lexus experience to a wider audience.

The planned facility is set to span 12,700 square meters across four floors with a mezzanine. Lexus said it will offer a full range of aftersales services, including Lexus One, periodic maintenance, general services, and body and paint work.

Design details were also shared during the announcement. Lexus said the building will feature sharp, tapered surfaces and clean linear geometries, paired with a curated mix of materials and textures that highlight both local artistry and Japanese craftsmanship.

Lexus Quezon City Gallery is a joint venture between Toyota Motor Philippines and the Oben Group. The Oben Group operates Toyota dealerships in Balintawak, North EDSA, Otis, Marilao, and San Jose del Monte.

The Lexus Quezon City Gallery is tentatively set to open in 2027.
