Shell Renews Yanson Fuel Deal

Shell Pilipinas Corporation and the Yanson Group of Bus Companies have renewed their fuel supply agreement for the second half of 2026, extending a partnership that supports bus operations across the country.
Shell will continue to supply fuel and mobility support through Shell Fleet Solutions. The agreement covers Yanson Group companies that operate major bus routes in the Visayas and Mindanao.
Christopher Alli, country manager for Shell Fleet Solutions at Shell Pilipinas, said the company aims to help transport operators maintain efficient and reliable services as their business requirements change.
He cited fuel supply and fleet management services that can help operators maintain business continuity and manage their vehicles more efficiently.
Atty. Julius Entila, Yanson Group vice president for administration for Luzon and the Visayas, said a fuel partner must understand the demands of running a large transport operation.
He said dependable supply and operational support are important to the group’s daily services across its route network.

Shell Pilipinas vice president and general manager for mobility and convenience Michael Ramolete and Yanson Group chief operating officer Dr. Hernan B. Omecillo also discussed developments in the transport sector during the agreement signing.
Omecillo shared observations on transport technologies and mobility services introduced in other markets. He said similar developments could influence the Philippine transport industry in the coming years.
Ramolete outlined Shell’s efforts to expand its mobility services in response to the needs of transport operators and their customers.
The agreement gives Yanson Group companies access to Shell’s fuel supply and nationwide service network. Shell Fleet Solutions also provides fleet management support intended to simplify operations and control operating costs.
Both companies will also study other ways to improve the performance of Yanson Group’s bus services over the longer term.
Yanson Group operates buses across key routes in the Philippines. Its companies rely on regular fuel deliveries and operational support to maintain schedules and serve passengers.
The renewed agreement continues a relationship between two companies involved in Philippine public transportation, with Shell supplying fuel and fleet services to support Yanson Group’s daily operations.
