Riders from across Luzon gathered under one roof as Honda Philippines, Inc. held the Honda Riders Convention Luzon Leg, a full-day event that doubled as a celebration and a milestone check.

The company reported that it closed 2025 with its strongest retail performance on record. In December alone, Honda Philippines sold 114,772 motorcycle units. Total retail sales reached 1,041,237 units, while wholesale volume hit 1,044,510 units for the year. The figures reinforced Honda’s position in the local two-wheel market.

“This historic performance highlights your continued trust by always choosing Honda,” said Takeshi Kobayashi, President of Honda Philippines, Inc. “We are deeply thankful to our loyal Honda Riders.”

The event also served as the public launch of the refreshed New CLICK 125. Honda presented the scooter as a “Game Changer Upgrade,” with updated styling and added features. The model targets everyday riders who want practical transport with a modern look. Honda said the CLICK 125 remains focused on daily reliability and urban use.

Throughout the venue, riders joined test rides and product showcases. Skills competitions and e-sports activities drew strong participation. A motorshow area displayed customized bikes, while brand booths offered interactive experiences. The program highlighted what Honda described as the joy of owning the CLICK 125 and being part of the riding community.

Honda also recognized members of its Riders Club during the program. Company officials credited the riding community for supporting the brand across different segments, from daily commuters to provincial workers and weekend leisure riders. The 2025 sales result, the company said, reflected that broad base of customers.

Entertainment capped the celebration. Band Sponge Cola performed live, adding to the festival atmosphere. A grand raffle added more excitement, with two units of Honda’s electric scooter EM1e given away to attendees.

The Luzon leg opened Honda’s 2026 calendar of activities. Company officials said the focus remains on delivering motorcycles that meet daily needs while keeping ownership practical and dependable.

For Honda, the convention was a public thank you to the riders who pushed the brand to its highest annual sales in the Philippines.

VinFast Scoots to the Top
VinFast closed 2025 with a big win in electric two-wheelers, delivering 406,453 e-scooters nationwide and locking in the top spot in Vietnam’s e-scooter market. The figure represents a massive 473 percent jump from the previous year, underlining how fast electric mobility is catching on in the country.
The surge was led by VinFast’s Evo lineup, which became the brand’s best-selling range for the year. With multiple price points and flexible battery options, the Evo models alone accounted for more than 250,000 units sold. Other familiar names such as Feliz, Klara, Vento, Vero X, and Theon also helped push overall numbers higher. License-exempt models like Motio, Zgoo, and Flazz widened the brand’s reach, especially among younger riders and first-time buyers.

Beyond product variety, VinFast pointed to heavy investment in its ecosystem as a major driver of growth. By the end of 2025, the company had built a nationwide sales network with over 600 authorized distributors, making its e-scooters more accessible across urban and provincial areas. This was backed by a growing number of service workshops and public charging stations, designed to make ownership easier and less intimidating for new users.

Sales were also boosted by aggressive customer programs, including gasoline-to-electric trade-ins, attractive financing options, and expanded after-sales support. According to VinFast, these efforts helped ease common concerns around charging, maintenance, and long-term costs, encouraging more riders to switch from petrol-powered scooters.
Hoang Ha, CEO of VinFast’s e-scooter business in Vietnam, said 2025 was a turning point for green mobility in the country. He added that strong market momentum and growing trust in the brand give VinFast confidence heading into 2026, which the company expects to be another milestone year.
VinFast’s dominance in e-scooters came alongside strong performance in electric cars, highlighting a broader shift away from gasoline vehicles nationwide. The company sees this as proof that Vietnam’s transition to electric mobility is no longer a future plan, but an ongoing reality.
At the start of 2026, VinFast expanded its lineup further with four new e-scooter models, including battery-swapping versions of Evo, Feliz II, and Viper, plus the Amio pedal-assisted model aimed at students. To support this push, VinFast has already installed 4,500 battery-swapping stations and plans to roll out 45,000 battery cabinets by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
The company is also running its “For a Green Future” campaign, offering zero down payment options, retail discounts, and registration fee support until April 12, 2026. Buyers will receive free charging at V-Green stations until May 31, 2027, along with complimentary battery-swapping for up to a year, depending on usage.

Click125 led both retail and wholesale sales, helped by its fuel efficiency and everyday usability. ADV160 followed as a popular choice for riders looking for more power and comfort for longer trips. BeAT stayed strong among first-time and younger riders, while XRM125 DS and TMX125 Alpha continued to serve riders who rely on motorcycles for work, deliveries, and rural travel.

Honda Philippines said the numbers reflect long-standing customer trust built around product reliability and nationwide support. The company maintained its focus on offering motorcycles that meet daily transport needs, from short commutes to livelihood use, while keeping ownership costs manageable.

Takeshi Kobayashi, president of Honda Philippines, said the 2025 performance showed continued confidence from Filipino riders and the strength of the brand’s current lineup. He said the company will keep developing motorcycles that support daily life, work, and personal mobility needs.
Moving into 2026, Honda Philippines said it will continue balancing performance, efficiency, comfort, and safety as rider expectations evolve, while keeping two-wheel mobility accessible across different segments of the market.
